Culture Resource (Al Mawred Al Thaqafy) held a workshop in the field of cultural journalism in Cairo during the period from 29 June to the 4th of July 2008. The purpose of the workshop was enhancing the knowledge of different cultural fields of the young Arab journalists who are specialized in cultural journalism. In addition to this, the workshop worked on improving their skills on both the academic and professional levels. Moreover, this workshop offered them the chance to exchange experiences, knowledge and it opened the doors of cooperation between them.
                                                                               

Culture Resource presents "Hay" Ramadan’s annual festival at El Genaina Theatre in Al Azhar Park starting Thursday 11 till Thursday 25 September 2008. The festival includes a variety of musical performances performed by different artists from different countries.

Cairo will host for the first time a unique celebration of European and Arabic music. The Jazz Factory is an initiative by the European Commission's Delegation to Egypt, together with the Embassies of Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Italy, the United Kingdom and France in cooperation with the Egyptian Tourist Authority and the Egyptian Ministry of Culture. Culture Resource (Al Mawred Al Thaqafy) has been asked to help with the organization of the festival, and will furthermore support and organize the participation of a number of distinguished musicians from the Arab region in the festival.
