Abbara Program Al Mawred Al Thaqafy invites independent cultural and artistic groups in Egypt and Tunisia, as well as other Arab countries undergoing a democratic transition, to participate in this initiative. Abbara aims to provide support for these groups' infrastructure, to ensure their stability, in view of empowering independent cultural organisations to play a pivotal role in building democracy, in addition to their principal role which is providing cultural and artistic services to large segments of society.
